I recently had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful team at StoryMirror, who published my book DilSeDost. It was great to connect with everyone who played a role in bringing my book to life.
As an angel investor in StoryMirror for nearly four years, I’ve developed a strong bond with Bibhu Datta Rout, the CEO. Two years ago, I shared my idea of writing a book with Bibhu, inspired by my founder friends who wanted me to share my stories. He encouraged me to pursue it, and that’s how my writing journey began.
The first year was slow, but I gained momentum as I poured my heart into writing unfiltered stories filled with emotion. In the last eight months, I spent countless hours thinking and writing, driven by the desire to share my life journey.
Bibhu and his team were instrumental in supporting me through the highs and lows. Writing a book is like running a startup—you go through multiple iterations to cover everything. It’s challenging to condense a lifetime of experiences into a few pages, but it just happened with blessings of Maa Durga and my family , it’s 18 months of effort
As I entered the office of StoryMirror, I was deeply inspired by Bibhu’s vision: Seven Billion People, Seven Billion Stories, One Platform. His grit and perseverance, even after eight years, are truly admirable. Visiting the StoryMirror office was a treat; the energetic and youthful team radiated positive vibes and affection. The vibrant atmosphere was palpable, and I was struck by Bibhu’s humility—his simple workspace in an open room reflects his values.
I thanked the team and encouraged them to read my book and spread the word, helping me in my mission to impact a million lives. I’m very proud to be part of their journey.
