Interactions with Founders – Eklavya Chandra, Saathi

Last week at the DLF Golf Club, I met Eklavya , founder of Saathi. We first connected last year to understand his journey, and this lunch only deepened my respect for what he is building.

Eklavya’s career reflects courage and clarity. He was part of a founding team that scaled from fewer than 10 people to a few thousand before returning to India to create his own venture. True to his nature, he has gone “all in”, investing his own capital and energy to shape Saathi’s bold vision “a fully digital platform to skill and place blue collar workers, while also uplifting the families behind them”.

What stood out is Saathi’s innovative approach: training delivered like a Netflix series, with short, engaging content and even 20-second video resumes to connect workers and employers. It’s about more than jobs , it’s about dignity, identity, and creating opportunity for entire households.

We also found a personal connection. Eklavya is the author of “FounderUp – The Mindset for Startup Success,” and I am the author of “Dil Se Dost.” Both books are published by StoryMirror and both of us are first-time authors driven by a common mission “to impact millions of lives in our own ways”.

I presented him a copy of my book, and we agreed to meet more often to exchange ideas and support each other’s journeys.

Wishing Eklavya and Team Saathi all success in building an ecosystem of skills, identity, and dignity for workers and their families.
