1. Alignment amongst investors and founders vis a vis Core values, chemistry, and aspirations.
2. Long Term focus and value creation.
3. An investor must be able to help the company in building some of the key capabilities and the investor must provide access to the founder for the company to achieve its goals and scale profitably.
4. Investor and founder must be able to build trust and respect for each other such that founder can openly share his thought and issues to get the right advice on tradeoffs and challenges in his journey to create a long-lasting institution and leave a legacy.
