I had a chance to listen to Prof. CK Prahalad at the CII conference in 2007 and he was sharing his thoughts on how India can grow at double-digit. he was an amazing human being and a management guru. I am sharing key takeaways, which I remind myself in my prayers almost every day:
His thoughts on mindset:
1. Aspiration should be greater than resources
2. Fold the future into the present
3. Focus on Next Practices
His thoughts on the DNA of leader/institution:
1. Imagination
2. Courage
3. Passion ( In my view we should go for Obsession)
4. Humanity
5. Humility
6. Intellect
7. Luck
I am sure most of us may think on these lines but reminding ourselves of this framework will help all of us achieve amazing outcomes.
