Have faith in these beliefs, and you can rewrite your own destiny- My thoughts.

Our personal beliefs play a huge role in how we view our life. They often have a profound impact on our thoughts, emotions, actions, and behavior. Our framework of beliefs also provides a structured process through which we evaluate and estimate our personal successes and more importantly Happiness.

Below are different components – affective and cognitive – has helped me become more happy and humble and while doing so have been able to deliver some interesting outcomes:

Affective: Values

  • Have Faith in God
    • Believe in the theory of Karma, i.e., you can only perform your role and leave the outcome to God.
  • Do not get attached to the issue; believe that everything happens for a good reason.
  • Lead with a Higher Purpose
    • All actions as far as possible be driven towards a Higher Purpose.
    • Avoid any personal agendas and always go with your conscience whenever in doubt.
  • Believe in yourself and your dreams
    • Nothing is impossible.
    • You may not see the way when you start your journey, but the conviction and passion will find ways to connect the dots.
  • Achieve Humility
    • Samta ( treat everyone as equal)
    • Mamta ( love and compassion)
    • Kshamta ( Respect for one’s capabilities)
    • Namrata ( Be polite)
  • Embrace a Positive Mindset
    • Always do Chintan ( think) and avoid Chinta ( worry).
    • Focus on the Solution instead of the Problem.
    • Positivity attracts Positive vibrations, putting you in a virtuous circle.
    • A positive mindset increases attention and enhances creativity.
  • Approach life with Gratitude
    • Thank God for what you have and what you are and making you fearless.
    • Appreciate your courage and freedom to make choices.
  • Live in the moment
    • Forget worries of the past and anxieties of the future. Stay in the present.
    • When you feel happy in the present and the present is a continuum, then you will remain happy always.
  • Practice Wisdom to make the right and fair choices
    • Tap into your inner knowledge and decide how to live the life that is right for you and be who you want to be

Cognitive: Efforts

  • Be Disciplined and Focused
    • Learn how to focus your mind and energies on your goals and persevere until they are accomplished. Not to let your mind waver on multiple priorities
  • Work Hard and be energetic
    • Luck can change your life but luck is not within your control. Hard work is.
  • Succeed with Perseverance
    • Hold on firmly to your goals, enjoy the journey of life despite the challenges and setbacks

And lastly,

Empty your mind for greater happiness.

Our attitude and actions influence the choices we make. One’s thinking and way of doing things are the products of one’s beliefs and help us to go through tough times.

Develop a habit of meditation to regain your life balance and continuously reinvigorate and remind yourself every day, the value system enumerated above.
